Active stewardship is the cornerstone of CFI's peak preservation work. CFI offers numerous ways for volunteers to get engaged and give back to the Fourteeners. Whether you're interested in swinging a trail tool on our current field projects, talking to other climbers about Leave No Trace ethics as a Peak Steward, signing up your group to Adopt-a-Peak, or putting your former experience to work as a Volunteer Crew Leader, we'd love to see you on the Fourteeners this summer! Peak Stewards are select individuals who are trained to provide educational information about Leave No Trace practices, trail and resource conditions, user behaviors, and compliance with Forest Service regulations.
